Clerical to join top 3 UK providers
Within five years Clerical Medical will be counted among the UK's top three providers for IFA's, according to John van Der Wielen the firm's recently appointed managing director.
Mr Van Der Wielen has been with Clerical Medical, which is part of HBoS, since last year and came from HBoS Australia where he set up a new financial services company in the region for the bank.
He said that his appointment was part of the re-invention strategy for the pensions and investment specialist which has not had a managing director for two years.
